One Way Ticket – four part series

On December 2007 I first set foot to the glamorous city of Dubai. It is one of my so called “in a snap of a finger decision”. Low and behold, in a snap I packed my things,  resigned from my  job, bid sayonara to my friends, convinced my family and I that it will be a quick trip and I shall return in 5 years.

I know right! Ang pangakong napako! Its been 12 years and still counting. Kapit lang! Sayang naman, may visa pa ko e.

Initially it’s just a journey to mend a broken heart.

Lakas maka sosyal…   Next na lang ang pangkabuhayan showcase .

I’m sure we all have this thought that when you experience a heartache, that you can’t even breathe.  And anywhere you look, it reminds you of that person. Yes! Even of the trash can! Bitter si ateng…  Dati yowwnn! LOL

When that feeling hit you, you had that reserve thought of  packing your things,  heading to the airport in your Audrey Hepburn OOTD and hiding your puffy eyes with Channel cat eye sunglasses. BOOM! Lakas maka artista ng dating.

Hmmm.. it took a while before I had that moment… but in a simpler version.

I’m just wearing a shirt and jeans and gripping to a ONE WAY TICKET to my future.
